TNEA rank list 2025 shows 8,657 ineligible for Tamil Nadu engineering admissions; counselling dates out

The Directorate of Technical Education has issued the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025 rank list and TNEA counselling 2025 schedule. Accordingly, 8,657 candidates are ineligible for engineering admissions and they can submit grievances between June 28, 2025 and July 2, 2025 online on the official website, tneaonline.org. Registered candidates can check their ranks by logging in with their email address and password. The TNEA rank list 2025 available on the website mentions candidate’s application number, name, certificate verification status, and reason for ineligibility. Candidates have been rendered ineligible due to various reasons including duplicate application, unavailability of mandatory certificates and nativity certificates.
The certificate verification process was conducted between June 10 and 20. TNEA 2025 random number was issued on June 11 for breaking ties between candidates. Around 1.69 lakh aspirants had applied for Tamil Nadu BTech counselling 2025 till May 16.
