TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2026: Over 6,500 vacancies announced; apply by November 5

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the Group 4 notification 2026 for the Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group IV Services). The recruitment drive will offer 6,574 tentative vacancies across different departments in Tamil Nadu.

The online application process started on October 6, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply through the official TNPSC website till November 5. The written examination will be conducted on January 10, 2027, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Candidates applying for posts such as Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant and Bill Collector generally should have passed Class 10 (SSLC). Typist and Steno Typist posts require typewriting or shorthand qualifications. The minimum age limit is 21 years for VAO, Forest Guard and Forest Watcher posts and 18 years for other posts. The age limit is calculated as of July 1, 2026.
