TNTET 2025 exam dates revised to November 15, 16; registration open till September 8

Subscribe NowThe Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has revised the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 exam dates to November 15 and 16 due to administrative reasons. As per the official notification, TN TET Paper 1 will now be conducted on November 15, and Paper 2 will be held on November 16.
“Due to administrative reasons, a revised notification has now been issued stating that the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Tests will be conducted on November 15, 2025, for Paper I and on November 16, 2025, for Paper II,” the official notice said.
The initial schedule mentioned that Paper 1 and Paper 2 would be held on November 1 and November 2, respectively. TN TET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates can appear in one or both papers depending on their eligibility and teaching preference.
The registration process for the TN TET 2025 is currently ongoing, and the last date to submit the TN TET 2025 application form is September 8, 2025. Eligible candidates can complete the TNTET 2025 application process online through the official website, trb.tn.gov.in.
TN TET 2025 exam fee
The examination fee for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 is Rs 600 per application for all candidates, except those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled categories.
For candidates from these reserved categories, the fee is Rs 300 per application. Applicants must submit separate applications for Paper 1 and Paper 2, and pay the prescribed fee for each paper individually.
As per the official schedule, the application correction window will be open from September 9 to September 11, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary changes in their submitted forms. To be eligible for the TNTET 2025, candidates should be at least 18 years old as of July 1, 2025. There is no upper age limit prescribed for appearing in the exam.
