NEW DELHI: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has debarred 59 candidates who submitted wrong information regarding qualification for the teacher recruitment examination (BPSC TRE 2023). The list of debarred candidates were announced after the Bihar education department confirmed the fake certificates submitted by shortlisted candidates.
Such candidates have been given a 15 days time period to submit a clarification on “why they shouldn’t be debarred from the exam for the next 5 years?” The clarification has to be sent to the commission’s official website, onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in or to the email ID bpscpat-bih@nic.in by November 30.
The BPSC informed that it received a total of 1,756 complaints against the BPSC TRE results 2023. Out of which, 1,015 candidates have submitted affidavits and the remaining 741 have not submitted without any evidence. It has also published the roll number of such candidates along with the debarred applicants.

An attempt has been made to tarnish the image of the Commission by making unnecessary and baseless allegations against it. The Commission is forced to take a decision against this act of yours,” the official statement read.
A day ago, the BPSC chairman Atul Prasad also warned of legal action against those who fail to submit an explanation. “All such cases of frivolous complaints will be dealt with sternly,” he said.
The commission has also given them an opportunity to submit a clarification on the official website, onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in, by 5 pm on November 30.
