TS EAMCET Counselling 2025: Final phase option-entry begins; who's eligible?

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the option-entry facility for the final phase of the TS EAMCET counselling 2025 for engineering and pharmacy based on the Telangana Engineering Agriculture Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2025 scores. Registered candidates can exercise their choices on the official website, tgeapcet.nic.in.

As per the TS EAMCET counselling dates 2025, the last date for submission of preferences of courses and colleges is August 7. Based on the choices filled by the students, TS EAMCET seat allotment result 2025 will be announced on or before August 10.

The council informed that the candidates who had physically reported at the allotted college after the second phase seat allotment are eligible for exercising of options in the final phase. They can use their old password, login ID, for the leftover seats now available and consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment. TGCHE advised them to exercise options for interested colleges only assuming that vacancies are available in the course of their choice.

Who’s eligible for TS EAMCET option entry 2025?

The following aspirants are eligible for exercising options in the final phase of admissions:

• Candidates who have not secured a seat so far but got their certificates verified.
• Candidates who have not exercised the options so far but got their certificates verified.
• All eligible candidates who have not cancelled their seats through online.

Students who had cancelled seats either of the previous two phases are not eligible to give options in the final phase.

The seat allotted candidate must note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the choice, the vacated seat will be allotted to the next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on the previous allotment.

Moreover, those who are satisfied with their present allotment and paid the tuition fee online and self-reported through the website are not required to exercise options once again. However, they have to report at the allotted college in person after the final phase of allotment, otherwise the allotted seat stands cancelled.

TS EAMCET Counselling 2025: Option-entry process

Here’s how to exercise options for TS EAMCET 2025 counselling.

• Immediately after certificate verification, the login ID will be sent to the candidates registered mobile number.
• Download the list of colleges, branches, districts from the website.
• Take the printout of the manual option entry form from the website.
• Consult parents or friends and prepare the form as per your preference duly writing institution code, branch code and district code. This is for your convenience and to avoid mistakes and save time while entering web options.
• Candidates can exercise options from home or internet centre.
• If the candidate is exercising options from the internet centre, he or she is advised to logout properly after saving the options to avoid manipulation of the password by the centre person.
• Generate the password by clicking on candidates registration link in the website.
• After successful password generation, login with the details under the link ‘Candidates Login’ and enter OTP as received on the registered mobile number.
• Refer to the filled form and enter the options on the website.
• Candidates are advised to exercise options carefully in the order of priority.
• Candidate has to exercise as many options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat.
• Candidate can exercise and modify the options any number of times within the scheduled dates.
• Take a printout of final options saved for reference.
