NEW DELHI: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has issued the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET 2024) response sheet and model answer key today. Along with the TS EDCET answer key, the council has also opened the challenge window on the official website, edcet.tsche.ac.in.
The TS EDCET entrance exam 2024 was held on May 23 in two shifts - morning shift was held from 10 am to 12 noon and afternoon shift from 2pm to 4 pm. Shift-wise provisional answer key can be downloaded through the official portal using EDCET hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth.
The TS EDCET answer key challenge window will be closed on May 29 at 11.30 am. Therefore, candidates will have to submit their objections along with the supporting documents before the deadline. The answer key challenges will be reviewed by subject experts and if found correct, revised answer key will be issued. The TS EDCET results 2024 will also be based on the final answer key.
The TS EDCET question paper had five sections, the first part had mathematics, science and social studies each carrying 20 questions. The exam also assessed students’ knowledge in teaching aptitude, general English, general knowledge and educational issues, and computer awareness. Each question carries one mark, totalling 150 marks.
As per the passing criteria, all candidates except those belonging to SC, ST will have to obtain 25% in aggregate to qualify in the exam, which can be rounded off to 38 marks. However, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST candidates.
“However, the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities shall secure the minimum qualifying marks of 25% marks (i.e. rounded off to 38 marks) in Ed.CET to claim a seat under NCC/Sports and Games/Physically Handicapped/Children of Armed Personnel quota,” the council said.
