TS POLYCET counselling 2026 begins; slot booking open till May 31, seat allotment by June 6

TS POLYCET 2026: Students can book their slot, pay counselling fees, and get their certificates verified for phase 1 on the official website, sbtet.telangana.gov.in or tgpolycet.nic.in
The Department of Technical Education (DTE) has started accepting applications for Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET 2026) counselling from today. Students who have qualified the TS POLYCET 2026 exam can register for counselling and book their slots on the official website, sbtet.telangana.gov.in or tgpolycet.nic.in for diploma admissions in polytechnics.
The last for fee payment, slot booking, and certificate verification for TS POLYCET counselling 2026 phase 1 is May 31. The POLYCET seat allotment result will be declared on or before June 6.
Candidates and their parents are advised to fill as many options as possible, as per their preference, to get admission in the desired polytechnic institute and diploma course.
According to the official TS POLYCET notice, physical reporting at the allotted college after the phase 1 allotment is mandatory. Otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled, and the candidate will not have any claim on the allotted seat.

TS POLYCET Certificate Verification: Required documents
The list of required documents for the TS POLYCET certificate verification process for 2026, which will be held until June 6, is as follows:
- TGPOLYCET 2026 Rank Card
- Aadhar Card
- SSC or its equivalent Marks memo
- Study certificates of Classes 4 to 10
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2026 by competent authority, if applicable.
- EWS Income and Asset Certificate issued by the Tahsildar, valid for the year 2026-27, if applicable.
- Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable.
- Residence Certificate of candidate for a period of 7 years preceding the qualifying examination in case the candidate has no institutionalised education.
- In respect of Non-Local candidates to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats, the following certificates need to be submitted.
TS POLYCET 2026 results were announced on May 23. Candidates in the OC and BC categories are required to pay a counselling registration fee of Rs 600, whereas candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories must pay Rs 300.
