TS TET 2024 application form out; teacher eligibility test from January 1 to 20

NEW DELHI: The Government of Telangana School Education Department has announced the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG-TET-2024-II) exam date and started the registration process for teachers posts of classes 1 to 8 in schools in Telangana State. The TS TET application form submission last date is November 20.

As per the schedule, the TGTET exam 2024 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from January 1 to January 20 at several exam centres situated across the state. To be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes 1 to 8, aspirants should qualify the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

All candidates who possess DElEd, DEd, BEd, language pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses with requisite percentage will be eligible to apply for the exam.

Through the TS TET 2 exam , the department will fill teachers vacancies for classes 1 to 8 in the schools of the state government, mandal parishad, zilla parishad schools, private aided schools, and private unaided schools in Telangana.

TG TET 2024 schedule

TG TET 2 exam will be held in two shifts - session 1 from 9 am to 11.30 am and session 2 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Paper 1 will be conducted for those who aspire to be teachers of classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for those who wish to teach classes 6 to 8.

Those applying for one paper will have to pay Rs 750 and those intending to appear for both papers will have to pay Rs 1,000 as application fees.
