NTA declared UGC-NET December 2021, June 2022 (Merged Cycles) results. Out of 5,44,485 candidates only a total of 52,201 candidates qualified.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released a notification PDF after the results for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) was declared. The agency released the UGC NET 2022 notification pdf on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. today, November 5, 2022.
A total of 5,44,485 candidates appeared out of which 43,246 candidates qualified eligibility for assistant professor while 8,955 candidates were declared qualified for JRF and eligible for assistant professor. Therefore, 5,10,194 candidates did not qualify the UGC NET examination 2022.

The agency report stated that UGC-NET December 2021, June 2022 (Merged Cycles) was conducted in four Phases till October 22, 2022 spread over 17 days at 837 centres in 239 cities across the country. The Examination was conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode for 82 Subjects including multiple shifts exams for Bengali, commerce, English, Hindi, history, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya and political science.
The institutions installed a total of about 2,450 jammers in each shift to prevent cheating using mobile network and other electronic devices. In order to make the examination system transparent, the question paper, provisional answer keys and recorded responses of candidates were hosted on the NTA website, the challenges received were verified by the experts and results were processed as per the answer keys finalized by experts.
As per the UGC policy, 6 percent of candidates who appear in both the papers and obtain minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers will be declared to be national eligibility test qualified The certificates of qualification will be issued by NTA to the qualified candidates shortly.
NTA released the UGC NET cut off 2022 Subject/Category wise cutoff percentile, marks, qualifying marks on their website. UGC NET 2023 application form will be released separately for December & June session.
