UGC NET 2023 result likely this week; Criteria for declaration of results

Candidates who appeared in February 21 to March 2 will be able to download the UGC NET December results from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in 2023.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be declaring the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) results for the December session this week, as per various media reports. As per past trends, the NTA announced UGC NET 2023 result within two weeks after the answer key challenge last date. UGC NET December 2022 Result LIVE UPDATES
Candidates who appeared in February 21 to March 2 will be able to download the UGC NET December results from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in 2023. They will have to key in their UGC NET registration number and password or date of birth to download the results.
UGC NET December 2022 exam was held for 83 subjects in five phases panning over 16 days in 32 shifts at 663 centres. A total of 8,34,537 candidates appeared for the UGC NET exam in December 2022 session.
Criteria for declaration of UGC NET result 2022
Candidates who have appeared for the NET exam 2023 will be able to find the steps followed by the NTA for declaring the results.
Step 1 - The number of candidates to be qualified, total slots or eligibility for assistant professor, will be equal to 6% of the candidates appeared in both the papers of UGC NET 2022.
Step 2 - The total slots will be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy.
Step 3 - In order to be eligible for ‘JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Assistant Professor’, a candidate must have secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for general and general-EWS category and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
