UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: The objection window for the UGC NET 2024 answer key will close tomorrow at 6 pm.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the objection window for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 answer key tomorrow, on February 3. Candidates, who appeared for the UGC NET 2025 can challenge the answer key through the official website of NTA at ugnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the official notification, the objection window for the UGC NET 2024 answer key will close tomorrow at 6 pm. To raise objections, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 as fee per question and the processing fee is non-refundable.
On January 31, the NTA released the UGC NET 2024 answer key on its official website. "The Provisional Answer Key(s) for UGC - NET December 2024 Examination conducted on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21 and 27, 2025 along with the Question Paper with Recorded Responses are available on the website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key", as per the official notice on the NTA website.
“The challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel consisting of subject experts. If the challenge is found to be correct, the ugc net 2024 answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates,” as per the official notice on the NTA website.
The UGC NET 2024 result will be prepared and declared on the basis of the final answer key released by the authority.
Candidates can pay the processing fee for objections raised to the UGC NET 2024 answer key through several mediums such as credit card, debit card, net banking, and UPI.

UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: Steps to raise objection
Candidates can raise objections to the UGC NET 2024 answer key by following the steps.
- Go to the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Search for ‘UGC–NET December-2024’ link on the home page and click on it.
- Then type your login credentials and submit.
- Look for ‘view answer sheet’ and click on it.
- Next, click on the challenge option.
- Few items will appear on the bar, select the option you want to challenge and submit required documents to support your claim.
- Pay the challenge fee of Rs 200 through UPI, bank, credit, debit.
- A new page will appear as confirmation, click on it and download it.
