As per the marking scheme mentioned in the UGC NET December information bulletin, there is no negative marking in the exam. This means that candidates will not lose marks for incorrect answers.

As per the UGC NET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 2 marks for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect responses.

The NTA determines the UGC NET 2024 cut-off based on the following factors:

• The number of candidates who appeared for the exam.
• The difficulty level of the UGC NET 2024 question paper.
• Trends in the previous year's UGC NET cut-off.

Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to log in and download the UGC NET 2024 scorecard for December session exam.

According to the UGC NET December 2025 marking scheme, candidates will receive two marks for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect responses. Candidates can calculate their scores by adding the marks for the questions they attempted.
