UGC NET Admit Card 2021 - Check photograph and signature specifications
The National Testing Agency has mentioned the guidelines and instructions with regard to the photograph and signature related to the UGC NET 2021 admit card which the candidates must check.

NEW DELHI- The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon issue the UGC NET admit card in online mode for the exam that will be held from October 6-8th and from October 17-19, 2021. Candidates must check the specification related to the photograph that they need to carry with them along with the UGC NET 2021 admit card. It is mandatory that the photograph that the candidates carry with them to the UGC NET 2021 exam centre should be taken on or after October 1, 2020.
The photograph should have the name of the candidate as well as the date on which it was taken and it must be clearly visible. It is advisable that the candidate carry with them at least 6 to 8 photographs along with the UGC NET admit card . Signatures should not be forged as it will result in the cancellation of candidature of the candidate.
Key Points Related to the photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet

The photograph which has to be pasted on the attendance sheet should be similar to the one that has been uploaded on the application form and it should be the same as on the UGC NET admit card.

If in the future it is detected that the candidate has uploaded someone else’s photograph or signature then stringent action will be taken against the candidate.

The photograph of the candidate to be pasted on the attendance sheet of the UGC NET 2021 exam should be without goggles and cap. Spectacles are permitted only if the candidate regularly uses it. Also polaroid and computer generated photographs are not allowed. If the photograph is also deshaped, then action will be taken against the candidate.

Another important point that the candidates who will appear for the UGC NET exam is that they should not carry with them any attested photograph.
What to do in case of discrepancy in the UGC NET Admit Card 2021?
Once the candidates have downloaded the NTA UGC NET admit card, and they find any discrepancy in it such the photograph and the signature are not similar as shown on the NET admit card and the confirmation page, then in such a case, candidates should contact the NTA helpline number between 09:30 am to 5:30 pm. In such cases, candidates would be allowed to appear for the UGC NET 2021 exam for December 2020 and June 2021 session and the NTA will take the required action to make the necessary changes in the record later on.
