UGC NET 2025 Answer Key: Candidates can download the question paper and recorded responses on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, using their login credentials.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for December 2025 answer key by January 15. Candidates can download the UGC NET 2025 answer key through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in, using their login details.

Candidates can download the UGC NET 2025 provisional answer key using their date of birth and password details. NTA will issue the UGC NET December 2025 question paper along with the recorded responses of the candidates.
All the challenges raised against the UGC NET December 2025 provisional answer key will be examined by subject experts, and the final answer key and UGC NET results 2025 will be prepared accordingly.
UGC NET December 2025 was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects from December 31 to January 7, across various cities.
UGC NET December 2025 exam
As per NTA's update, a total of 1,35,079 candidates appeared for the UGC-NET December 2025 exam on January 2.
In shift 1, a total of 66,318 candidates appeared for various subjects, including Library and Information Science, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Forensic Science, Human Rights and Duties, Computer Science and Applications, and Bodo Language and 2, 68,761 candidates appeared in shift 2 for subjects such as Oriya, Psychology, Philosophy, Punjabi, Sociology etc.
UGC NET exam is held twice every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor in Indian universities, and admission to PhD programmes.
