The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 session exam. Candidates can now access the UGC NET 2025 provisional answer key along with their response sheet on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. UGC NET Answer Key 2025 (OUT) LIVE

Along with the answer key, the NTA has also hosted the question paper. Those who are not satisfied with the answers will be able to challenge the UGC NET answer key 2025 by paying an objection fee of Rs 200.
According to the schedule, the answer key challenge window will be available between July 6 to 8. The last date to make payment is July 8.
UGC NET 2025: How to calculate scores?
The UGC NET 2025 answer key will have candidate's name, exam date, subject ID, shift, question ID, and correct option ID. The UGC NET results 2025 will be prepared by the subject experts after reviewing the answer key objections.
As per the UGC NET 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer in both paper 1 and 2, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

UGC NET Answer Key 2025: How to challenge?
Steps to challenge the UGC NET June 2025 session answer key are as follows.
- Visit the UGC NET official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘UGC NET June 2025 session’ answer key link available.
- Enter the required details to login.
- Click on the ‘Challenge Answer Key Link,’ available.
- Select the correct answer option ID and question ID for which the objection has to be raised.
- Upload all the documents supporting your claimed answer.
- Click on the ‘Save your claims and pay fee’ button.
Candidates will have to submit Rs 200 for each objection raised against the UGC NET provisional answer key. The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2025 session exam from June 25 to 29, for 85 subjects.
