UGC NET December 2023 registration deadline extended till October 31
UGC NET December 2023: Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023 till October 31. Candidates who have not applied yet can fill the UGC NET application form 2023 on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Earlier, the last date for UGC NET form fill up 2023 December was tomorrow, October 28. The commission took the decision after receiving representations from various candidates.
“Therefore, in continuation to the public notice dated September 30, 2023 regarding submission of online application form for UGC NET December 2023 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor (AP), NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC NET December 2023, enabling the aspiring candidates to apply for the said exam,” said NTA in an official notification.

As per the application fee, candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 1,150 whereas candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) will have to submit Rs 600. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and third gender candidates have to pay Rs 325 as application fee.
NTA will conduct UGC NET 2023 exam for the December session from December 6 to December 22.
