UGC NET December 2024 cut-off is available for JRF, assistant professor, and PhD admissions on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
NEW DELHI : The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) cut-off 2024 for Junior Research Fellowship and assistant professor post saw an increase for all the major subjects except economics. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET December 2024 cut-off along with the UGC NET result 2024.

A total of 5,158 candidates have qualified for JRF; 53,279 for appointment as assistant professor, and 1,14,445 for PhD admissions in the December session exams. A total of 8,49,166 had registered including 4,77,397 female, 3,71,718 male, and 51 third gender candidates.
The UGC NET December 2024 results have been prepared without using a normalisation method this year as the exam was held in a single shift. Around 6.49 lakh candidates wrote the UGC NET exam held from January 3 to 27 for a total of 85 subjects, recording an overall attendance of 76.5 per cent.
