UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card: The NTA will conduct the CBT mode exam for 85 subjects from December 31 to January 7. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2025. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam scheduled on December 31 will now be able to download the UGC NET December admit card 2025 through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
According to the public notice, the UGC-NET December 2025 exam will be conducted for 85 subjects in computer-based test (CBT) mode at exam centres across the country.
The UGC NET December 2025 exam is scheduled on December 31, January 2, January 3, January 5, January 6, and January 7. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.
“The admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear on 31 December 2025 have been released today, i.e., 27 December 2025. The admit cards for the remaining examination dates shall be released in due Course,” the official notice said.
Candidates will have to enter their UGC NET application number and date of birth to download their UGC NET admit card 2025. The admit card will carry details such as roll number, candidate’s name, application number, reporting time, centre details, exam details, and other exam day instructions.

The agency has asked candidates to carefully read all instructions mentioned on the admit card and comply with the examination guidelines. In case of any difficulty in downloading the admit card or any discrepancy in the details mentioned on it, candidates can contact the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 or write to ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
The UGC-NET is conducted to assess eligibility for the award of the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes offered by universities and colleges across India.
