UGC NET June 2025 Form: Candidates can now pay the application fee till May 13 and make corrections to their application form on May 14 and May 15.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025 June session exam. Eligible candidates can now fill out the UGC NET June 2025 application form till May 12 through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The testing agency has also extended the deadline to make payment and to edit the application form. Eligible candidates can now make payment till May 13 and edit their UGC NET June 2025 application form on May 14 and May 15.
The original deadline for submitting the UGC NET 2025 application form was May 7, while the correction window was scheduled to open from May 9 to May 10 for candidates to make any necessary edits to their submitted forms.
The application fee for UGC NET 2025 is Rs 1,150 for candidates from the general category. For General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backwards Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) category candidates, the application fee is Rs 600. For applicants from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, and transgender candidates, the fee is Rs 325.
“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC – NET June 2025,” the official notice said.
The testing agency has extended the deadline to enable more candidates to register for the UGC NET June 2025, which is conducted to determine eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes in Indian colleges and universities.
Candidates should keep the following ready before starting the filling of the UGC NET June application form 2025.
A government-issued ID such as ration card, passport, Aadhaar card, voter ID, or any other valid identification
