NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2026 June exam in two shifts for 87 subjects across the country; Admit card soon on ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET June 2026 subject-wise schedule and timings today. NTA will conduct UGC NET June 2026 exams from June 22 to 30 in two shifts across the country for 87 subjects.

NTA will hold the UGC NET 2026 June shift 1 exam from 9 am to 12 pm, and shift 2 exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Recently, NTA has added four more cities to the UGC NET June 2026 exam centre list. The new exam city centres include Namsai in Arunachal Pradesh, Kakching and Bishnupur in Manipur, and Cherrapunji in Meghalaya.
This year, UGC has also added two more subjects, forestry and statistics, to the UGC NET 2026 subject list.
NTA will issue the UGC NET 2026 June admit card soon on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
