University of Birmingham Dubai opens applications for Bachelor of Commercial Law

A minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 are required to be eligible for the Bachelor of Commercial Law at the University of Birmingham Dubai. Candidates can apply on www.birmingham.ac.uk/dubai.

Applications for the Bachelor of Commercial Law are now open for Indian students at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus. It is a specialised programme that covers fundamental legal rules and principles of both English and UAE law, with emphasis on commercial transactions.

The applications are open for September 2025 intake. The tuition fees per year is AED 124,343 (approximately USD 33,847). Scholarships are available for meritorious students. These scholarships can be carried forward through the foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. To apply for the scholarships, students can go to the website: www.birmingham.ac.uk/dubai.

In order to apply for the programme, interested students need to fill in the application form and upload supporting documents online on the admissions website. Students can also opt for a consultation with an “in-country representative” through the official contact details mentioned on the website.

Study Law in Dubai: Eligibility

Students who have cleared Class 12 from India are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Commercial Law in Dubai. The grading equivalents for the programme are given below.

Throughout the programme, students will receive academic and practical training through the University of Birmingham’s Centre for Employability, Professional Legal Education and Research (CEPLER).

Students can go on for legal careers in Dubai, as well as internationally. They will be able to qualify as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). They can also register as a legal consultant with the Dubai legal affairs department.
