Overall, the entrance test consists of 200 questions for a total of 400 marks, with a combined duration of six hours.

If two or more candidates secure the same score in UP BEd JEE, the tie is resolved through a predefined process. Preference is first given to the candidate belonging to the same university. If the tie still remains, the older candidate is given priority and is placed higher in the merit list.
