As per Jagran Josh report, although the official announcement is still awaited, media reports, through their sources close to UPMSP have said that the Board is likely to follow similar evaluation criteria as done by the central boards. 

As per the report of Timesnownews, "Few of the representatives have suggested giving more weightage to the UP pre-board examination held for Class 10, 12 boards. The students who failed to appear in pre boards should be given minimum pass marks. At the same time, some other stakeholders have urged to drop pre-board marks for UP Board result 2021".

The online UP board result 2021 12th class is made available in the form of a temporary mark sheet which will include student's name, subject-wise marks, and pass/fail status. Students will be able to collect the original certificates from their respective school authorities after the declaration of the UP board 12th result 2021.

The meeting on UP board 2021 result criteria was held through a video conference yesterday. The final decision on the UPMSP evaluation criteria is expected soon. Using evaluation criteria, students will be able to predict their scores based on their previous performance.

Earlier, the UP board Class 10 exams were scheduled between May 8 and 25, 2021, while Class 12 exams were to be conducted from May 8 to 28, 2021. Now, these exams have been cancelled.

This year, a total of 29,94,312 students have been registered for the high school UP board exam, while 26,09,501 students for Class 12 exams.

As per the NDTV report, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that “On the formula for giving marks to students, a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Aradhana Shukla and the final decision will be taken and marks will be given on the basis of the panel’s recommendations.”

Uttar Pradesh board cancelled UP board exam 2021 following the CBSE trend. UP board is the biggest board in the world which conducts Class 10 and 12 exams for more than 56 students. The deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma said that this is the first time that high school and intermediate exams are cancelled.

So far, UP Board, Gujarat Board, Goa Board, Uttarakhand Board, Haryana Board, Madhya Pradesh Board, Rajasthan Board, Karnataka Board, Maharashtra Board, Odisha Board, and Tamil Nadu board have cancelled their board exams 2021.

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma, on Twitter announced that It has been decided to promote all the students of Class 10 and 12. In order to decide the formula/process of evaluation, a committee has been set up in the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education.

As per the report, students of Class 12 will be promoted on the basis of their previous exam scores. The marks of Pre-Board and Class 11 final exam marks will be considered. If any student has not appeared in the pre-board exam, then they will be promoted on the basis of marks of Class 10 and 11.

As per the report by Aaj Tak, the marking scheme has been released. The UP Board result 2021 will be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. The marks for UP Board Class 10 students will be awarded on the basis of the average of Class 9 final exam marks and Class 10 pre-board exam marks. 

The UP Board is expected to release the Class 10 result in the month of July 2021. Students will be able to check the result on the official website upmsp.edu.in. The evaluation criteria is to be decided by the board soon. 

Earlier, the UPMSP exams were all set to be commenced from May 8 and conclude on May 28, 2021 However, after the decision by CBSE to cancel board exams, the UP Board has announced the cancellation of exams.
