UP Board 2023 Result Date: UPMSP has countered rumours; what we know so far

Download NowNEW DELHI : Over the past few weeks, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), which conducts the UP board Class 10 and Class 12 (Matric and Inter) exams has had to debunk rumours about the UP board 2023 result date. Over 58 lakh students wrote the exam and await the UP Board result 2023 Class 12 and Class 10 which is usually declared on the board official website, upmsp.edu.in.

Earlier, several media reports claimed that the results would be declared on April 21. Another set of reports said the result would be declared in May. However, UPMSP secretary, Dibyakant Shukla countered them saying on his official social media account: “The circular claiming for UP board result 2023 to be declared on April 5 is fake. The update about results will be announced in due time”. The UPMSP is yet to announce the UP board 2023 result date.
As many as 31,16,487 students of Class 10 had written the UP board class 10 exam, while 27,69,258 students of Class 12 appeared in the state-level board exams. The UP board Class 10 exams 2023 were held from February 16 to March 3; the exams for Intermediate students were held from February 16 to March 4.
UP Board result 2023 updates so far
As per the updates by UPMSP, the evaluation process of the answer sheets of Class 10 and 12 of the board is still underway. As many as 3.19 crore answer sheets are being evaluated. The evaluation process is being carried out under CCTV camera surveillance and section 144 has also been imposed in areas close to evaluation centres.
Earlier, in the first week of April, a fake circular claiming to ‘announced’ the UP board result date was circulating on social media. It was debunked by Shukla on April 5.
Last year, the exams were held from March 24 until April 12, 2022 and the UP board result had been declared by June 18, 2022.
