UP Board 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education has warned students and parents about the possibility of cyber fraud for those who have applied for the scrutiny of UP Board Class 10 and 12 answer scripts. In its official notice, the board has cautioned that criminals may try to contact students by pretending to be UP board officials and offer increased marks in exchange for money.

The fraudsters may contact students and parents through phone calls, messages, or emails, claiming an increase in marks.

UP Board has clarified that it does not contact students personally and advised students and their parents to not share personal information, roll numbers, or bank details with any unknown person.

With the active cooperation of the Uttar Pradesh Police, such criminals will be identified, and strict legal action will be ensured under the relevant sections of the IT Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the official notice said.

Students and parents are advised to record such calls and immediately report them, along with the mobile number, to their district's District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) or register a complaint on the cyber helpline number 1930.
