UP NEET UG counselling 2023 round 2 schedule revised; check new dates

UP NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Choice filling and locking process of counselling round 2 will now start on August 23.
NEW DELHI: Directorate general of medical education and training, Uttar Pradesh, has revised the schedule of the UP NEET UG 2023 round 2 counselling. The directorate will now conduct the choice filling and locking process on the official website – upneet.gov.in – on August 23.
The online choice-locking window will close on August 26 till 5 AM. Earlier, the choice filling and locking process was to start today i.e. on August 21.

The result of round 2 of UP National Eligibilty-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) counselling for undergraduate (UG) programmes results will be declared on August 28. Students will be able to download the seat allotment order from August 29 to September 4. The students can take admission from August 29 to September 4.
The academic session will commence from September 1. The registration process is going on for UP NEET UG 2023 on the official website -- upneet.gov.in. Students will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000 and a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for UP state quota seats. Students applying for seats in private medical and dental colleges will have to pay Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.

Candidates can follow these steps to fill the choice filling and locking process of UP NEET UG counselling 2023:
- Visit the UP NEET UG official website, upneet.gov.in 2023.
- Click on the ‘registration UG (MBBS/BDS)’ link on the homepage under the registration section.
- Login using the credentials to fill the application form.
- Choose your preferred colleges and lock
- Download the application form for future reference.
