UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Revised merit list makes 1,531 more students eligible for MBBS, BDS admissions

The Director General Medical Education (DGME) has published the revised merit list for the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2025 for 85% state quota seats in MBBS, BDS courses in medical and dental colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, 30,699 made their way to the merit list for UP NEET UG 2025 counselling . Students have been selected on the basis of their NEET UG 2025 marks, NEET rank, and category. The UP NEET UG revised merit list 2025 mentions candidate’s roll number, name, father’s name, UP category, sub-category, marks, and rank.
Only those candidates who have paid the registration fee, security money, and got their documents verified will be eligible for UP NEET UG choice-filling, the DGME clarified. Students who already locked their choices between the time period given during the initial time schedule will not be allowed to unlock their choices or make changes in them.
As per the revised UP NEET UG counselling schedule 2025, the choice-filling process has started and students can submit their preferences for courses and colleges on the official website, upneet.gov.in. The last date for filling the choices is August 13. Based on the choices submitted by the applicants, UP NEET UG seat allotment result 2025 will be declared on August 14.
Eligible students were allowed to register for the UP MBBS, BDS admissions from August 8 to 11. The DGME UP revised the UP NEET UG round 1 counselling dates after receiving the direction from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The counselling authority is conducting the NEET UG state counselling 2025 in UP for a total of 13,093 MBBS and BDS seats in 110 government and private medical and dental colleges.
