NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued the city intimation slip for the UP Police constable recruitment exam 2024. Eligible candidates should download the UP Police Constable 2024 city intimation slip through the official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
Candidates should enter the registration number and date of birth to download the UP Police Constable 2024 city intimation slip. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on February 17 and 18 which was later cancelled due to paper leak allegations.
The UP Pollice constable exam is scheduled to be held from August 23 to 31. The UP Police recruitment exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm.
As per the official website, the board will issue the admit cards for UP Police Constable 2024 3 days before the actual date of examination. Candidates are required to carry the admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre for verification purpose.
The UP Police constable recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill a total of 60,244 vacancies out of which 24,102 posts are for unreserved candidates, 6,024 for economically weaker section (EWS), 12,650 posts for scheduled caste (SC), 1,204 for scheduled tribe (ST), and 16,264 posts for other backward classes (OBC).
