UP Police Recruitment 2024: Candidates will have to use their registration number and date of birth to download the UP Police constable result 2024.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is expected to announce the result for constable recruitment exam 2024 soon. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination will be able to download the UP police constable result 2024 through the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
As per the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to declare the results by the end of this month. The Chief Minister has instructed that the recruitment process for vacant positions be accelerated and emphasized the need to uphold the integrity of examinations at all costs, according to a post from his office on X.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the UP Police constable result 2024.
The UP Police constable recruitment 2024 exam was held in two phases on August 23, 24, and 25, 2024, and on August 30 and 31, 2024. Papers were held in two shifts – from 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm. The test was held for around 48 lakh candidates at 1,174 centres in 67 districts.

UP Police Constable recruitment 2024: Selection process
The selection process for the UP Police constable recruitment 2024 typically involves the following stages:

Written Examination : Candidates are required to take a written test, which includes objective-type questions on subjects like General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and General Hindi.

Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates who pass the written test must meet specific physical standards, such as height and chest measurements, based on their category and gender.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Qualified candidates undergo a physical efficiency test to assess their physical fitness. This usually involves running and other physical tasks within a stipulated time.

Document Verification : Candidates who pass the PET are required to submit and verify their documents, including educational certificates, identification, and caste certificates (if applicable).

Medical Examination : Finally, candidates undergo a medical test to ensure they are physically fit for the role.
Approximately 48 lakh candidates applied for the UP Police Constable 2024 exam, with 28.91 lakh participating in phase 1 and 19.26 lakh in phase 2. The recruitment drive aims to fill 60,000 constable positions across various divisions.
