UP schools to hold half-yearly exams 2025 for Classes 1 to 8 from November 28

UP Half-Yearly Exams 2025: Schools will hold both written and oral assessments in two sessions daily, with the first session scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second session from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
The Directorate of Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh, will conduct the UP half-yearly exam 2025 for Classes 1 to 8 in council and recognised schools from November 28 to December 3, 2025. According to the schedule, schools will conduct written and oral assessments in two shifts — the first shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
The UP half-yearly exam 2025 will commence with oral assessments for all subjects for Classes 1 to 5, while for Classes 6 to 8, basic craft, agriculture, and home science will be conducted in the first and Associated Education, art, and scouting will be conducted in the second shift.
The final day, December 3, will include written examinations in moral science, Hindi, and science in the first shift, followed by environmental studies in the second shift. The Directorate has instructed all schools to ensure that the examinations are conducted in a transparent and orderly manner.
