UPPESSC announces special UPTET 2026 dates; OTR starts today, exam on November 11

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced the UP Special Teacher Eligibility Test TET 2026) dates for teachers and special teachers (CWSN) working at the primary and upper primary levels. For Special TET application 2026 candidates can complete One Time Registration (OTR) from today, September 5.

Candidates can apply for special UPTET 2026 on the official website at upessc.up.gov.in till October 4. The online application correction facility will end on October 8.

UPESSC will conduct special UPTET 2026 exam on November 11.

The opportunity comes after the Supreme Court’s May 29 order extending the final deadline for all in-service teachers to clear the mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to August 31, 2028.

UPESSC: Special UPTET 2026 pattern

As per UPESSC’s special UPTET notice, the paper will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ), and each question will have four options. There will be no negative marking in the eligibility test. The number of questions will be 150, and each question will carry one mark. The medium of the question paper will be Hindi and English (except for language subjects).

UPTET Result 2026: Grievance redressal deadline

The commission declared the UPTET result 2026 on August 26. Candidates have been provided with a grievance redressal facility regarding the results. Candidates can submit their representations to the commission's email at upesscprayagraj@gmail.com by September 10. Additionally, candidates must note that no representations regarding this matter will be accepted at the commission's office.
