UPPSC Nursing Staff Recruitment 2023: Online registration begins for 2,240 posts

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started the registration process for recruitment of staff nurses in state hospitals. The recruitment will be for the 2240 posts, including 171 male vacancies, of Group B, non-gazetted female, and male temporary nursing staff.
It is also holding the recruitment for 300 posts of staff nurses ayurveda – 48 male and 252 female vacancies. Candidates can apply for the post on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
Candidates belonging to unreserved, economically weaker sections and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 25 as registration fee. Aspirants from scheduled castes and ST categories have to pay Rs 65 as registration fee. Persons with disabilities will have to submit Rs. 25 for the registration process.
Eligibility criteria
Male aspirants applying for staff nurse should have passed 10+2 with science, a nursing diploma, or a BSc in nursing while female candidates should have 10+2 with science, a nursing diploma, or a BSc degree. They should also hold a nurse or midwife certificate from a recognised university or institute.

Candidates applying for staff nurse ayurveda should possess a diploma in medical and surgical nursing (ayurveda). Candidates with a diploma in midwifery (ayurveda) or certificate in ayurveda nurse and midwife (dhatri) can also apply for the post.
