UPPSC PCS 2025: Registration begins for 200 vacancies; Prelims exam on October 12

UPPSC PCS 2025: The registration deadline is March 24.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has commenced the UPPSC Provincial Civil Service (PCS) 2025 registration form. As per the UPPSC PCS 2025 recruitment notification, a total of 200 vacancies has been announced. The UPPSC PCS 2025 registration form can be filled by visiting the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. The UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims exam date is October 12.
The UPPSC PCS 2025 registration deadline is March 24. Candidates will be required to pay an application fee to complete the registration process. The UPPSC PCS 2025 registration fee for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 125 and for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) it is Rs 65. The UPPSC PCS 2025 application fee for Person with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs 25 and for Ex-servicemen it is Rs 40.
UPPSC PCS 2025: Selection process
The UPPSC PCS 2025 selection process includes Preliminary examination, Mains exam, and personality tests. Candidates will be able to edit their already submitted UPPSC PCS 2025 application form by April 2.
UPPSC PCS 2025 Prelims exam
The UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims papers will carry 200 marks each. The duration of UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims papers will be two hours. The UPPSC PCS 2025 papers will have 100-150 objective type and multiple choice questions. The UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims paper I will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
As per UPPSC PCS 2025 notification, prelims paper 2 will be a qualifying in nature and the passing marks is 33%. Candidates will be required appear for both prelims papers. The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in UPPSC PCS 2025 prelims paper 1.
The UPPSC PCS 2025 Mains
The UPPSC PCS 2025 Mains exam will be conventional type. The duration of the UPPSC PCS 2025 Mains paper is three hours. The UPPSC PCS Mains 2025 timing will be 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

UPPSC PCS 2025 personality test
The UPPSC PCS 2025 personality test is also known as viva-voice test. The UPPSC PCS 2025 viva-voice test will carry a total of 100 marks. The UPPSC PCS 2025 personality test will focus on topics of general interest while considering academic relevance. The UPPSC PCS 2025 viva-voice test will assess candidates' general awareness, intelligence, character, communication skills, personality, and overall suitability for the service.
