UPSC aspirants demand postponement of upcoming Civil Services Prelims

NEW DELHI: Alakh Alok Srivastava, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Indian has recently written a letter to the Union Public Service Commission to postpone the Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020. As per the letter due to Coronavirus situation in the country and floods in some parts of the country, it will be difficult for candidates to appear for the examination. Check below for more details.
As per the official notification from ICMR, the coronavirus cases are likely to peak in November. The remote areas of northeast villages are also facing floods and issues with internet connectivity. There are many frontline warriors who are working in hospitals and NGOs also.

UPSC IAS 2020 prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 4 in offline mode. Previously due to complete lockdown in the country the exam was postponed from May 31, 2020. Candidates must check the COVID19 guidelines before appearing in the exam.
Union Public Service Commission has already released the NDA 2020 admit card on August 10 at its official website. NDA exam 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on September 5 in offline mode. Candidates must follow the COVID-19 guidelines for NDA exam before appearing in the exam.
