UPSC CAPF AC Result: Commission displays scores of non-recommended candidates

UPSC released a list of non-recommended candidates from 2021, 2022 with their scores, other details at upsc.gov.in.
NEW DELHI : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has displayed the scores of candidates not selected for the Central Armed Public Forces (CAPF) in the exams held in 2021 and 2022. The list of candidates with their scores is available on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
The list mentions the candidate's roll number, name, father’s name, date of birth, community, gender, educational qualification, total marks, complete address, and email ID.
“In keeping with the decision of the Government of India (Department of Personnel and Training) on making available publicly scores of candidates in recruitment examinations through portals with a view to provide a useful database to other employers to enable them to identify good employable candidates, the commission issued a disclosure scheme for disclosing the scores and other details of the non-recommended willing candidates, who appeared in the final stage of the examination (interview), on its website,” UPSC said in an official notice.

The commission has displayed the scores out of 600 of 419 non-recommended candidates in 2022 and 182 in 2021 who appeared for the interview. The information will be valid for one year.
UPSC said that it doesn’t assume further responsibility of the method and manner in which the information of these candidates will be used by organizations.
In UPSC CAPF AC result 2022 declared on August 7, 2023, the commission recommended 204 candidates against 233 vacancies and later released a list of 29 candidates for remaining vacancies. Whereas, in the 2021 exam, 151 candidates were recommended and a list of 19 candidates was released later.
