UPSC CDS 1 final results 2025 declared; 365 qualify

UPSC CDS 2025: The final results have been declared after the written exam and SSB interviews.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 final results 2025 after written and SSB interviews. A total of 365 candidates have qualified in the CDS 1 exam 2025.

Notably, there are some common candidates in the three lists of various courses. However, the medical exam results have not been taken into account in preparing the lists for UPSC CDS 1 qualifiers 2025 .
The SSB interviews were held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 160th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Kerala, and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training course.
The number of vacancies, as intimated by the government, for the Indian Military Academy is 100, including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificates army wing holders, for the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Executive Branch (General Service)/Hydro is 32, including 6 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Naval Wing holders and 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, including 3 vacancies reserved for NCC ’C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Special Entry.

CDS 1 exam qualifiers 2025
Earlier, the commission had recommended 2560, 942, and 636 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy, respectively. The number of candidates finally qualified is those after the SSB test conducted by the Army Headquarters.
The results are accessible on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. However, marks of the candidates will be available on the website after the declaration of the final result of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025.
