UPSC Combined Geo Scientist 2020 Application Released; Apply Now

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 25: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 on September 25, 2019. UPSC, along with the notification has also released the online application form. The Combined Geo-Scientist 2020 exam will be conducted to fill in 102 vacancies, out of which in the Category-I there are a total of 99 posts in the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines and 03 posts in the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water
Resources. The online applications have started from September 25, 2019, and will commence on October 15, 2019, 06:00 pm. UPSC has also mentioned the dates to withdraw the online Applications, which is October 22, 2019, to October 28, 2019, till 06:00 P.M.
Application fee for the exam is Rs. 200/- (Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.)

Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) CBT Examination, 2020 will be conducted on January 19, 2020. Candidates qualifying in the preliminary will be eligible to appear in the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2020.
The examination will be conducted in 3 stages:

Preliminary- Computer-based Examination (400 marks)

Mains - Descriptive type (600 marks)

Physical test (200 marks)
For every wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted.
Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be an Indian National.

Candidate age should be of 21-31 years as on January 1, 2020

For Jr. Hydrogeologist (Scientist B) (Group A) Candidate age should be of 21-34 years as on January 1, 2020

In the new page, click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’

A new window will open on your screen, in this window go to ‘GEOL‘ and click fill Part 1 of the application form

Your registration credentials will be generated, use those credentials to fill the Part 2 of the application form
Use a valid email ID and mobile number for registrations as the login credentials like the registration number /application number will be sent on the same.
