UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam 2025 results declared; 812 qualify for officers posts

Subscribe NowThe Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result for Combined Medical Services Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the written, and personality test, held in July and December, can download the results pdf through the official website at upsc.gov.in.
A total of 812 candidates have qualified for the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2025. The commission has recommended 363 candidates for appointment in category 1 posts, while 449 have been selected for category 2 vacancies.
The category 1 posts comprise medical officers grade in general duty medical officers sub-cadre of central health service.
Posts such as assistant divisional medical officer in the railways, general duty medical officer in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), and general duty medical officer grade 2 in municipal corporation of Delhi are part of the category 2 vacancies, as per the official notification.

“Appointments to the above said services/posts will be made according to the number of vacancies available and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility conditions and all pre-appointment formalities/ verifications, wherever due, being completed satisfactorily,” the UPSC said.
The allotment of candidates to the various posts has been made as per the ranks obtained and preference of services expressed by them.
Candidates who have been recommended by the commission to various posts can obtain any information or clarification relating to the examination on working days between 10 am and 5 pm in-person or over telephone numbers - 011-23385271 and 011-23381125.
Notably, the commission will publish the UPSC results 2025 marksheet on its official website within fifteen days from today.
“In case the provisional candidate fails to submit the requisite documents, in original, as required by the Commission within this period, his/her candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard,” the UPSC said.
