For UPSC CSE Prelims 2025, last date to fill application form is now February 21

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has again extended the last date to apply for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2025 and Indian Foreign Services (IFS) Prelims 2025 till February 21, 2025.

Earlier, the commission extended UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 application deadline till February 18. Eligible aspirants can fill the UPSC CSE application form 2025 and UPSC IFS 2025 application form on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

In view of the extension of registration last date, the commission has also revised the dates for correction of application forms. Now, the UPSC application correction facility will be provided from February 22 to 28. “The last date for submission for CS(P)‐2025 & IFoS(P)‐2025 has been further extended till 21.02.2025 (06:00 PM). Further, the Correction window of 7 days shall now be available from 22.02.2025 to 28.02.2025,” the commission said in an official notice.

UPSC recently made changes to the One-Time Registration (OTR) after receiving representations from candidates expressing difficulties in form filling. Accordingly, the commission has made ‘have you ever changed name?’, ‘gender’, ‘minority status’, and ‘Class 10 board exam roll number’ entries editable until the final submission of applications.

Candidates will not be allowed to change their name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, and email ID.
