UPSC declares Engineering Services Examination 2025 results; 458 candidates qualify

Candidates can download their UPSC final engineering services examination results 2025 from the official website at upsc.gov.in.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for Engineering Services Examination 2025. A total of 458 candidates have qualified the written, and personality test and are recommended for appointment to civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication posts at various ministries, department.
Candidates can download their UPSC final engineering services examination results 2025 from the official website at upsc.gov.in. The marksheet will be available on the portal within 15 days from today, as per the official notification.
The results are declared on the basis of a written test, held in August 2025, and the personality exam, conducted between October and November, the statement reads.
A total of 202 candidates have been recommended for civil engineering posts, 116 for electronic and telecommunication, 79 electrical and 61 mechanical discipline. According to the notification, the government aims to fill a total of 554 vacancies through Engineering Services Examination (ESE), 2025.
“Appointments shall be made strictly in accordance with the extant rules and the number ofvacancies available. Allotment of candidates to various Services/Posts shall be made according to ranks obtained and preference of Services expressed by them,” the UPSC notice reads.
The notification further said that the UPSC has a “Facilitation Counter” near the examination hall building at its campus. Candidates can obtain any information or clarification regarding ESE on working days between 10 am and 5 pm in person or contact on 011-23385271 and 011-23381125
UPSC ESE 2025 Results: Qualified candidates
Here is the table given below, which contains the total number of candidates, category-wise recommended for appointment to various posts. In electrical engineering, 01 PwBD-3 backlog vacancy has been interchanged with PwBD-1 due to non-availability of PwBD-3 candidate, the notification said.
