UPSC ESE 2022 Exam Schedule Announced at upsc.gov.in; Check time table

UPSC has released the exam dates of ESE prelims 2022 online at upsc.gov.in. UPSC ESE prelims 2022 exam will be conducted on February 20 in two slots.
NEW DELHI - Union Public Service Commission has announced a notice regarding the UPSC ESE 2022 exam date for prelims on the official website. As per the notification, the UPSC ESE prelims 2022 exam will be held on February 20, 2022 in two shifts. The 1st shift will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and the 2nd shift will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. Earlier, the authorities released a yearly calendar that contains the UPSC ESE 2022 exam dates for both prelims and mains exams.
UPSC 2022 prelims shift 1 will consist of questions from General Studies and Engineering Aptitude and the total duration of this paper will be for two hours (300 marks). UPSC prelims shift 2 will consist of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecom Engineering. The exam duration is for three hours and the total number of marks in this paper is 300 marks.

UPSC ESE syllabus 2022 (prelims)
According to the UPSC ESE 2022 syllabus, the exam is divided into two papers, paper 1 is General Studies and Engineering Aptitude, and paper-2 is an Engineering discipline. UPSC ESE paper-I is generic whereas Paper II has been divided as per the engineering disciple that is the Mechanical Engineering syllabus, the Electrical Engineering syllabus, Civil Engineering Syllabus, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering syllabus.
