NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the Civil Service Examination (CSE) interview for the 2020 session from today onwards. Candidates who qualified in the UPSC IAS mains 2020 exam as per the results released earlier, will appear in the UPSC IAS interview 2020. During the course of the interview, candidates are expected to be dressed formally and at the time of answering the questions, they should sound confident.
At the same time, candidates should not beat about the bush while answering the questions in UPSC IAS interview. The UPSC IAS 2020 mains exam result was declared on March 23, 2021. UPSC IAS 2020 Mains exam was conducted on January 8, 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2021.

What Type of questions are asked in the UPSC IAS Interview?
The questions asked in the UPSC IAS interview are based on the candidate's academic career, optional paper, personal life, service preference, current affairs etc. Candidates are judged on various parameters by the interview panel which consists of senior members or ex-civil servants, subject matter experts etc.
What is the UPSC IAS interview stage?
The UPSC IAS interview also known as the UPSC CSE personality test is the third and the final stage of the UPSC Civil Service Examination selection process. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary followed by the mains stage are eligible to appear in the interview stage. The interview stage is conducted at the UPSC Office in New Delhi.
Applicants who clear all the three stages of the UPSC CSE 2020 exam will be inducted as Group A and B officers in various services like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service (IFS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), etc.
About UPSC IAS 2021
UPSC released the UPSC CSE 2021 notification on March 4, 2021. The UPSC IAS 2021 prelims exam is scheduled to be held on October 10, 2021.
