Sinchan Snigdha Adhikary has topped the ISS exam while Anurag Gautam secured the top rank in IES exam. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exams can check the final merit lists on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
UPSC IES, ISS 2024 exams were held from June 21 to 23. Candidates who cleared the written exam appeared for the interviews and personality tests in December 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 18 IES vacancies and 33 ISS. However, only 31 candidates have been selected for ISS due to non-availability of PwBD-2 and PwBD-3 candidates. Moreover, one backlog vacancy has been filled by a person other than a person with disability (PwD).
The UPSC results of eight candidates, four in IES and ISS each, have been kept provisional. “The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and clarifies the provisional status of these candidates,” the commission said.
The provisional results of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of final result. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents as required by the commission within this period, their candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard.
Marks of the candidates will be made available on the website within fifteen days from the date of publication of the result.
