NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 exam 2024 tomorrow, September 1. Candidates registered for the exam can download the UPSC CDS, NDA admit card 2024 through the official website, upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC conducts recruitment exams to fill 370 positions in the National Defence Academy and 34 positions in the Naval Academy. Additionally, the CDS exam will be held to fill 459 positions in the organisation.
"The use of any mobile phone (even in switched-off mode), pager, or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drives, smartwatches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any other equipment or related accessories, either in working or switched-off mode, capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations", the official notification read.
UPSC NDA, CDS 2 shift timings 2024
NDA exam is conducted in two shifts-morning and afternoon shifts. UPSC NDA shift timings are given below.

UPSC will conduct CDS 2 exam 2024 in three shifts- morning, afternoon, and evening.

UPSC NDA, CDS 2 exam 2024 guidelines
- Candidates planning to take the exam are advised to print their e-admit cards, as UPSC will not provide any paper admit cards.
- Those who do not present their e-admit card at the assigned venue will not be permitted to take the exam. Applicants should keep their admit cards safe until the final results are announced.
- A photo ID card, matching the number specified in the e-admit card, must be brought to each exam session.
- Candidates should arrive at the exam venue at least 30 minutes before the session begins.
- Only black ballpoint pens are allowed for writing and marking answers on the OMR sheet. The use of any other color, pencils, or ink pens is not permitted.
