NEW DELHI, July 10:  AKTU has announced the round 2 seat allotment of UPSEE 2018 in online mode. To check the allotment, candidates need to login to their accounts using their roll number and password. All the candidates who have been allotted seats will have to confirm their admission by July 12. Authorities have allotted the seats to all the eligible candidates based on their merit and preference. The registration for round 3 allotment will commence from July 13. Candidates who are willing to participate in the round 3 will have to register, pay fees and upload their documents by July 14.

Steps to check seat allotment result

Follow the mentioned below steps to check the seat allotment result:

  • Visit the official website and click on the applicant dashboard

  • Enter UPSEE roll number and password.

  • The seat allotment status will be reflected on the screen.

  • The provisional seat allotment letter is also available for candidates to download.

What after seat is allocated?

As the result of round 2 seat allotment is released, candidates have the following options with them:

Freeze – With this option, if candidates are satisfied with allotment, they can freeze the seat allotted to them. They have to download the provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted institute to complete further admission formalities.

Float - This option can be used to confirm the seat allotted and also ask for upgradation at the same time.

Withdraw – This option is for the candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seats. Such candidates can use this option to not be considered for allotment in any subsequent rounds of counselling.

Key points to remember for UPSEE Seat Allotment

  • If a seat is allotted to a candidate during later rounds then his or her earlier allotted seat (if any) will be automatically cancelled.

  • Further if a candidate participates in subsequent round of counselling by exercising ‘FLOAT’ option and a new seat could not be allotted to him or her then the previous allotted seat will be retained.
