UPTAC Counselling 2025: Candidates allotted seats will have to pay the seat acceptance fee by August 7. AKTU to begin round 3 choice locking from August 8.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) has announced the seat allotment result for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2025 round 2 counselling today, August 5. Candidates who participated in the second round of counselling can check their UPTAC seat allotment result 2025 through the official website at uptac.admissions.nic.in. BTech Counselling 2025 LIVE
As per the official schedule, candidates allotted a seat in AKTU UPTAC 2025 round 2 are required to confirm the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee and completing the online reporting by August 7, 2025. The process also includes document upload and verification through the online portal.
The seat acceptance fee for the general and Other Backwards Classes (OBC) category candidates is Rs 20,000. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates, the seat acceptance fee is Rs 12,000. Only those candidates who complete the confirmation process within the given deadline will be considered for further rounds or final admission.

UPTAC 2025 Seat Allotment Result: Willingness submission by August 7
The last date for submitting online willingness — including Freeze, Float, or Withdrawal options for candidates who wish to opt out — is August 7, 2025. Following the completion of online reporting, candidates will be required to report physically at the allotted institute as per the schedule to be announced separately by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
The online choice locking for UPTAC 2025 Round 3 counselling will be open from August 8 to August 9, 2025. The UPTAC 2025 counselling is being conducted for admissions to BTech, BArch, and other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering and technical institutes across Uttar Pradesh.
