UPTET 2021 exam begins amidst strict COVID-19 guidelines; Check details here

UPBEB is now conducting the UPTET exam 2021 today and the first shift has begun at 10:00 AM. It was observed at the UPTET exam centres 2021 that the authorities strictly checked the UPTET admit card and ensured that the COVID-19 SOPs were followed.

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is conducting the UPTET 2021 exam in offline mode today. The UPTET 2021 exam is being held in two shifts for Paper I and Paper II. Candidates had reached the UPTET exam centre well ahead of time to avoid any hassle. The gates are closed 10 minutes before the scheduled time and latecomers are strictly not allowed to enter.

The thermal screening and sanitization process was available at the entrance of the test centre and students were allowed only after that. The exam centre made sure that each candidate should enter after showing their UPTET admit card and valid photo id proof.

UPTET 2021 exam - Key guidelines to be followed at the test centre

Get seated at allotted seat- Candidates were assigned a seat and their roll number was written on it. They were just required to sit and take the exam in those seats. Strict action will be taken if the candidate will not be found on their allotted seat.

Instructions for the UPTET OMR sheet - Candidates should fill all the details carefully in the UPTET OMR sheet using black ball-point pen only. They must fill the bubble properly. If not, the paper will be cancelled.

Check UPTET 2021 test booklet and OMR sheet properly- In case the UPTET OMR sheet is mutilated or the code on the test booklet number and OMR sheet is not the same, students need to bring these defects to the notice of the invigilator.

Do not exit without the permission of the invigilator - Students should not exit the UPTET exam hall without the invigilator’s permission. Before the final bell, a warning bell will be given when 15 minutes will be left for the UPTET examination.

UPTET 2021 exam is being conducted in offline mode to determine the eligibility for the teachers of Class I to VIII.
