UP CM Yogi Adityanath issued Covid-19 guidelines for UPTET 2021 and asked not to allocate 'suspicious' campuses as exam centres.
NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath during a Covid-19 review meeting held on Thursday asked authorities to make separate arrangements for Covid-positive candidates who were going to appear for the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET 2021). Asking to ensure fairness during the exam, he said another incident of UPTET paper leak will not be tolerated.
UPTET exam 2021 is scheduled to be held on January 23. He earlier issued Covid-19 guidelines for the UPTET 2021.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, “All necessary arrangements should be made for the smooth conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) on January 23. If any Covid-positive candidate is willing to take the exam, then a separate room should be arranged for him/her.”
The chief minister urged officials to pay special attention to discrepancies and malpractices. “Any type of incident like paper leak will not be tolerated. On any such incident, the district magistrate, basic education officer, in-charge of the examination center will be held responsible,” Yogi Adityanath on Twitter.
On January 17, he issued Covid-19 guidelines for UPTET 2021 and said, “While allocating the examination centre, definitely refer to the past record of the institute. Never make institutions with tainted/ suspicious image as the exam centre.”
