UPTET Result 2026: UPESSC forms 5 member panel to address candidate grievances

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has constituted a five-member committee to examine and resolve representations received from candidates following the declaration of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 written examination results.

The result of the written examination for UPTET 2026 , conducted under advertisement No. 01/2026, was declared on August 26, 2026. Following the result announcement, applicants have been submitting their grievances to the commission through personal visits, registered post and email.

The commission said the committee will examine all aspects of the representations received from candidates and submit its report to the commission as soon as possible. The representations will be resolved or disposed of based on the report submitted by the committee.

Committee to examine candidate grievances

The five-member committee has been constituted to look into the representations received after the UPTET 2026 results. As per the commission, the committee will undertake a thorough examination of all aspects of the grievances submitted by applicants.

After examining the representations, the committee will submit its report to the commission. The final resolution or disposal of the applicants' representations will be based on the report received from the committee.

Candidates can submit representations by email

Applicants who wish to correspond with the commission can submit their representations through the commission's email address, upessc.prayagraj@gmail.com. The commission has also been receiving representations through personal visits to its office and registered post.

UPTET Result 2026: Statistics

This year, UPTET was conducted on July 2, 3, and 4 across 955 examination centers in 60 districts of the state. At primary level (classes 1 to 5), a total of 7,13,648 applicants appeared for the exam, of whom 5,71,435 qualified, recording a pass percentage of 80.07%. At the upper primary level (classes 6 to 8), 10,57,021 appeared for the exam, of whom 7,59,513 qualified, recording a pass percentage of 71.85%.

Among working teachers, 1,22,405 appeared for the primary level exam, of whom 93,387 or 76.29%, qualified. At the upper primary level, 146,394 working teachers appeared, with 113,384 applicants or 77.45%, clearing the exam.
