Vijaybhoomi University conducts its 2nd convocation ceremony
Padma Vibhushan Dr KrishnaSwamy Kasturirangan presided over the convocation ceremony at Vijaybhoomi University.

NEW DELHI: Vijaybhoomi University has recently conducted its second convocation ceremony at the campus on February 27. The event was graced with the presence of Dr KrishnaSwamy Kasturirangan, Chairman, NEP Draft Committee and Jaspal Sidhu, Chairman, Singapore International School.
President, Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor, along with Deans of all the schools of Vijaybhoomi University, attended the convocation alongside the officials, students and parents.
Congratulating the graduating students, Dr KrishnaSwamy Kasturirangan said, “Graduation ceremonies are very close to a student’s heart. It’s a mark of culmination of one milestone and the beginning of the next journey. You are all about to embark on your professional careers now. I truly believe learning must continue forever and if you embrace learning it will provide joy, if you apply learning to solve problems it will give you sense of accomplishment and prosperity and both of these combined will give you happiness I am also given to understand that the curriculum of Vijaybhoomi University conforms with the spirit of NEP 2020. I am glad that our vision of transforming education in India by implementing NEP 2020 has already started to take shape and I hope the interdisciplinary learning will provide you an edge in your careers. I wish you the very best and hope you all rise and shine wherever you go".
Adding to this, Jaspal Sidhu, Chairman, Singapore International School said, “I completely agree with Dr Kasturirangan. This phase of your life is extremely crucial. My one very important suggestion to you all is relentless pursuit of excellence. The desire to pursue excellence will create the appetite for learning and all the benefits mentioned by Dr Kasturigan shall accrue to you when you keep learning. I would also like to share that tomorrow’s world is going to measure impact and experiences. These measures will define tomorrow’s success unlike the present dominant metric namely wealth. I hope that all of you excel in your respective fields and grow wiser with everything life has to offer. Wishing you all the very best”.
